A CONSIDERED APPROACH

Built around the way
you’ll use it.

Recreating a logo should preserve its recognizable proportions and visual identity. If your reference is blurry or incomplete, point out the details that need confirmation instead of leaving important shapes or text to guesswork.

01

Approved version

Make sure the source shows the current version of the logo.

02

Color accuracy

Include brand colors when the reference image is unreliable.

03

Text confirmation

Provide the exact wording if small characters cannot be read clearly.

BEFORE YOU START

A clearer brief.
A better starting point.

Use your clearest source artwork. Include the finished size, application and required date. Confirm price, deliverables and timing before placing an order.

CHOOSE BY APPLICATION

Where this service
makes a difference.

01

Low-resolution brand files

Reconstruct a logo when the only available reference is a small image.

02

Existing identity handoff

Prepare organized artwork that a print or merchandise partner can use.

03

Logo consistency

Resolve uneven shapes or inaccurate colors using an approved reference.

KNOW YOUR OPTIONS

Small choices.
A different finished result.

These decisions help define the project before the artwork or production plan is approved.

Vectorize Logo: decisions to confirm

Decision	What to specify	Why it matters
Approved proportions	Identify which reference represents the correct geometry.	Different online copies may contain inconsistent proportions.
Unknown lettering	Confirm exact text and provide the font reference when possible.	Unclear characters should not be guessed from a blurry image.
Color restoration	Use approved color values or a supplied physical reference.	Colors taken from a compressed image may be unreliable.

ILLUSTRATIVE PROJECT BRIEF

Put the details into context.

A small raster logo rebuilt for signage. Supply an alternate reference for unclear text and confirm whether any irregular edges are intentional.

BEFORE YOU SAY YES

Review the details.
Then take the next step.

A screen preview is one part of approval. Check the details that matter to the actual application.

01

Against the reference

Compare wording, proportions, linework and colors with the approved source.

02

At output size

Check small elements and line weights at the actual print or production dimensions.

03

With the next supplier

Confirm color setup, fonts, background treatment and the requested file format.

04

Before release

Open the delivered artwork in the intended workflow and verify that necessary assets are included.

Can you restore detail missing from my image?

Missing elements need confirmation from another reference or your instructions. A redraw should not invent important brand details.

Is vectorizing a logo the same as changing the logo?

Not necessarily. A faithful reconstruction aims to preserve the approved identity; redesign or layout changes should be agreed separately.

Which delivery format should I request?

Use the format specified by the print or production partner. Explain whether they need editable artwork, outlined text, a transparent background or a specific color setup.

What counts as a change in scope?

A new composition, additional illustration, changed wording or a different production requirement may change the work. Define revisions and deliverables in the project agreement.
